Murder, sex, horny evolved humans, framing someone for rape, allusions to prison rape and blackmail are all on the menu in this decent short story collection/5(9). Not every story has a happy ending. I don’t think this sort of book is for everyone and I’m not sure that I’ll ever read another book by Christopher Moore. He’s the kind of author I would get bored of very easily.

The first, published inincluded three of Lewis's ballads, together with others by Sir Walter Scott and Robert Southey, but does not appear to be compiled by Lewis. This gorgeous hardcover includes 13 spine- chilling stories from the classic literature of Poe and Hawthorne to modern-day urban legends.
Includes. The stories in this collection are good, although I wouldn't describe some as "tales of terror," more "tales of the strange." "The Burning Witch," the first story in the book, was horror.
